Visa Information

Who Requires a Visa?

Entry requirements differ depending on what country you are a resident and citizen of. Check here to find out the necessary documentation you will need to ensure a smooth entry into the United States.

Cancellation Policies

Registrations cancelled on or before 14 June 2024 are subject to a $100 USD cancellation fee. Registration fees are non-refundable after 14 June 2024. Cancellations and refund requests must be requested in writing to Erica Werner, at ewerner@woccu.org. Refunds are not provided for attendees who do not attend the conference.

Attendees who apply for a visa by April 12, 2024 and whose applications are denied or not received in time to travel to the event, are an exception to the above cancellation policy and are eligible for a refund of conference registration fees. To receive a refund, you must contact ewerner@woccu.org within two weeks of receiving the application denial, and no later than 31 August 2024 with your reason for cancellation. No refunds will be issued after this date.

Letter of Invitation

If you do require a visa, attendees may require a letter of invitation from World Council of Credit Unions to facilitate the processing of the visa. To receive a letter:

  1. Register for the conference.
  2. Download and complete this Visa Letter Request Form and email it to ewerner@woccu.org.

Letters of invitation will only be issued once the above documentation and conference registration have been received. Issuance of a visa letter is subject to review by World Council. Incomplete requests may not be processed. All letters will be emailed as a PDF, no exceptions.

*Please make sure to carry your Visa Information with you when traveling.
